Marinade for Korean Bulgogi

Mix this up and pour over thin slices of steak for at least 30 minutes to overnight. Then stir-fry.

2 lb steak or pork, thinly sliced
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup brown sugar
2 T minced garlic
1 T grated ginger
1 T sesame oil
2 T mirin
1 T rice vinegar
1 Korean pear (green apple or kiwi substitute), grated
1 tsp ground black pepper
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
