Apple Snickerdoodle Dump Cake

A “dump cake” is just what the name implies. Combine everything and dump it into a baking pan. Bake and enjoy.

Ingredients:
2 (20 oz) cans apple pie filling
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 box yellow cake mix
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the prepared dish.
  3. Sprinkle the cinnamon and nutmeg over the apples.
  4. Evenly distribute the dry cake mix over the apple filling.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring as much of it is covered as possible.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
