Ingredients:
2 (20 oz) cans apple pie filling
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 box yellow cake mix
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the prepared dish.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon and nutmeg over the apples.
- Evenly distribute the dry cake mix over the apple filling.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring as much of it is covered as possible.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
